Hi,
I just bought a new SR5 Hilux, I believe that this is a detuned version of the old Prado engine. I am trying to find some info on how the detuned the engine and some advice or guidance on how to get some more power out of it as
well as
places i can call that may know about this.If it is a detuned engine there is obviously some room for improvement.
Any help appreciated

I guess you have the petrol engine ? If you have the diesel engine then the differences are a turbo and intercooler.
Can I guess right that you have the petrol ?Cheers, Beddo

Yeah it is the V6 3.4L
