A question to all the fishermen/fisherladies out there. Can anyone recommend a good
beach fishing set up for a keen beginner? I've fished before but always used borrowed gear so have a bit of an idea on how to fish but never owned my own gear. I wouldn't really know
where to start when buying my own.
Since we often find ourselves at deserted beaches it seems silly not to have the ability to throw a line in and have a go at catching our own dinner. Just because I'm a novice doesn't necessarily mean I'm after something cheap and cheerful. I truly believe in the phrase "buy cheap, buy twice"! so am looking for some sturdy gear that will last. Also, some advice on what I will need accessory wise ie scalers, knives etc and the best rig set up for
beach fishing.
Thanks in advice
Craig
