Katherine tomorrow and will be going to
roper bar than to king ash bay.We are towing a 21.6 roadstar allroad van with a 79 series cruiser.Fully equipped for freedom camping with solar and adequate water we are hoping to get info on road conditions and camping areas. We are in no hurry and will take about a week to get to king ash bay. Hi Peter, the road is in good condition and the creeks crossings are down too. You may want to stop at
Lorella Springs for a nice dip in the hot spring, it has a big
camp ground and also a bar at the station, with plenty of fishing and the track to the Gulf is easy and vans are going out their at the moment.

P.S. I forgot to mention that King Ash Bay is packed at the moment so would ring first. And the road was graded 7 weeks ago.

Peter,
Lomarieum Lagoon is a nice spot to
camp...turn off near the
ruins of
St Vidgeon Station.
Butterfly Springs NP is a good spot too and
Lorella Springs is really worth a couple of nights ...very nice out there.
