I was having trouble understanding what people thought might have gone wrong. But a picture is worth a thousand words.

I put that whole thing down to the Chook, they're evil! Lulled poor Steve into a false sense of security and snuggled up under his arm and VIOLA he dint know what he was doing! .... Laterally Literal

Yeh Bonz, you've got to be careful with chicks. When they want a bit of attention, there might be alterior motives. My Toy - 2001 Landcruiser 100S Turbo Diesel

It is a subtle sort of joke at the people that thought that little Bobby was in grave danger. It ridicules their postion is a subtle way, though if you are one of those Irwin detractors, you might not find it amusing!!

I will ask my therapist again, "what is wrong with me?"
Life is full of "what if's"
What if..... I am a Wally that laughs at stupid things like this......
What if......It is not my fault that I am finding it funny...what if it is the Prozac?
(Apologies to all the Wally's out there).

I'm not a great fan of Irwins... when you think that the average Yank believes that Adolph Hitler was born in Australia.. not Austria it think one has to be just a little circumspect in what, and how he portrays us Aussies overseas

Big fan of Steve's, l have been to Australia zoo and have witnessed some of his demonstrations and he is a true professional, he always has at least six people around the pond telling him of the croc's every move, and the pond that he was at during the "incident" is absolutely crystal clear! l read an article today of an interview with an eye witnessed who sore the whole thing and they believe the tapes must have been doctered (typical of the media) because it wasn't like it was portrayed. Don't get me wrong, it is not a gamble l would be prepared to take with one of my children, but he look's at croc's as you and me would look at our family dog, and l trust my dog around my kids but a lot of people would say l was nuts! Maybe all his critics should take a close look at a top rating TV program, Funniest Home Videos, where parents film there children being attacked by animals, falling down, and in general hurting themselves and instead of putting the camera down and rendering assistance, they keep filming in the hope that they could win money or a prize, so who are the bad parents, in my opinion, not Steve!!

True, True, Stuart.
Andrew, Its a wonder the media did't show this picture on front page in the first place, just goes to show how stories could be/are exaggerated with modern technology. By all means, keep your sense of humour, we all need it !!!Looking forward to the cruise and snooze years.........Retirement

Steve Who AND WHO CARES. Over the top and over the edge. Publicity stunt that went wrong - no excuses.

The real Steve Urwin might be a better person than the idiot persona of his public image. Pitty he doesn't use it.
