Hello Shaz and Steve,

The Big 4, ie the MacDonnell Ranges Caravan Park.

Just a nice distance from town. Enjoy your time in Alice.

Cheers

McDonnell Ranges CP seems the best of all, but costs + .....you can save $ across the road at G'day Mate (still very good).

I've stayed in a few of them. If you have kids, then Big4 McDonnell Range is probably the one for you ($47/night?)
If it's just 2 adults, then Stuart Range, right in town, is very good at $32.

We have stayed at the G/day Mate C/V park twice in 5 years, it is quiet very clean and no humbug from the locals.

It is opposite the big 4.

We stayed at the Wintersun 2 years ago and based on our experience, can highly recommend it.

MacDonnell Ranges Caravan park, we are here now and so is the Strawberry and pancake van!!!!!! 5pm - 9pm every night.
Deserts organised for the next few nights.
And they have a kids stay free on at the moment.

If you want to stay in town, I can highly recomend the Wintersun, which is on the North side of town, near a small shopping centre. Well run by friendly staff, and clean with great amenities.

I will second Fred's comments. We have stayed in them all over the years and the Wintersun Caravan Park in close enough to walk into town, and Robbie keeps the place very clean.

Cheers

Hi Shaz and Steve,

you could check this thread from a week or two ago.

We're thinking of staying at the Heritage CP. It sounds good and, because we'll have our little dog, pets are welcome. If anyone has any feedback on The Heritage I'd appreciate it.

Hoo roo,
Steve
