Hi Everyone,

Can anybody help me in where I can obtain a Stone & Rock protector to A) prevent or reduce stone reflection off the camper onto my much loved 200 series Landcruiser & B) Reduce stone & rock bombardment to the under carriage workings of the camper.

Regards. Cooby

I use a Stone Stomper. Go to the main forum and search for 'stone guard'. There are a heap of threads on this subject.

No system is going to completely stop stone damage to the underneath of your camper.....but the stonestomper IS going to stop 99% of stones hitting the front of your camper and the rear of your 4wd...

G`day,

I just had a look at some YouTube video`s of the Stone Stomper and didn`t see any that were fitted under a weight distribution hitch.

How do they go with a WDH ?.

Regards,

Scrubby.

If your WDH bars are low you can cut slots in the mesh to put the chains through and have the bars underneath. I do this after a tip from Christian at StoneStomper.

If you are a DIY type, go to this site

For more of the same go to http://www.campertrailers.org/tech_tips.htm and scroll down to the stone guards section.
