We've had zero in the morning at Silverton and at Tibooburra.

Had to upgrade the sleeping bag at BrokenHill!

Yes Joe without global warming it would have been a lot colder!!!.
Joe, do you know what the current road condition is like from Gregory Downs to Adels Grove? WE head off in a few days - and plan to be up there early July (you answered my post on this a month or so ago).
Cheers

Gregory downs to Adels is good, even getting 2 axel van going from Adels to here the back way so all the roads incuilding the Savannah way are in good condition at the moment, we are coming up to the mustering season and that means road trains full of cattel so roads will change over night .... keep in contact and i will fill you in.
Cheers and have a good trip

That is gobal warming Joe -but with all the data in the world we still can't convince some that tall narrow cars fall over more easily , so we have no chance of making some believe that wild variations on top of a very gradual rise is real.

Hope it actually gets up to 4.5 here in North East Victoria - still yesterdays snow flurries was very pretty.

Hello Joe, I agree with you re the " Global Warming". It is the same as the people who said it would NEVER RAIN AGAIN .We have not heard anything from them for a while. I am old enough to remember the drought during WW2 and it breaking in 1946 in Vic. The sort of weather we are getting in Vic now is similar to what I have seen in the past . I am sure some do not read the weather history of droughts in the 1890s also late 1920s to 46 plus all the dry years and floods since. Have a Great time in the North.
