Hi
Has anyone had this issue 80L
when initially plugged into 240v, its like the fridge trips. Have to turn off, wait 10 min and it does it again when turned back on
12v runs no issue
when been running & cooled, fridge can then run on 240v.
Brand new too....maybe needs to be run in????
And yes ive tried different outlets in house
Yes I follow instructions (turn fridge off before changing/turning on power)
Im buggered if I can work it out

Sorry
when I say 'trips', turn the dial on and light comes on and compressor starts, within less than 1 second light goes out and compressor stops. Only by again turning dial off and waiting approx 10 mins repeat the process.
If plugged into 12v chugs away no issue, after some time (on 12v) it can be turned off the 12v system hooked into 240v and away it goes again no issue. Just doest like starting on 240 if fridge not cold already.

Seeing it is brand new, the first thing to do would be to contact your retailer, and or Engel.

Unless when you say "tripping " you mean your house circuit breakers. In that case I would check what other loads you have on the same circuit at the time.

I have a 12 year old 40 litre and have never had that type of problem.

yeah if it is brand new and under warranty maybe take it back to where you bought it - that is what warranty is for!
