I have just downloaded the trial version on Oziexplorer 3.95 and am running it on my Acer laptop with a max screen resolution of 1366 x 768 and it is very pixelated and zoomed in is even worse. Is this just a trial version thing or does this happen in the full paid version??
Thanks Mark

Neither - works fine - must be a setup issue on your laptop.

Hi
Do you mean the actual program icons etc ..or the map you are viewing?
Cheers

Greg, the whole map is pixelated. The laptop has enough prcoessing power to handle it. The max res I can get my laptop is the 1366 x 768 and I was just wondering if anyone else has the same prob. I have done all the upgrades from MS and Nvidia.
Many thanks Mark

OK, thanks guys. News just in from Ozi......the maps used in their demo are raster maps and are only demos. So I have learnt something today!
I am just getting confused with ALL of the different types of maps ans scales.
But thanks for your assistance, Regards Mark

Hi
Yes Ozi comes with at least one demo (bmp format) map of some small area of the eastern states.
There are a range of free and commercially available maps for ozi out there. It is also possible to make your own (various methods/free programs).
Cheers
