I just had a doh moment and managed to wipe the system of all data tables related to the road conditions system. Oh yeah during newsletter send and all - darn. The new system I was working on at time is really great but I now need to get the database restored. So for the next few hours the road conditions system will be down. Once restored I will complete the new system and hopefully publish it tomorrow.

Hate it when that happens, but it will be up and running later.

Thanks Wilko,

I moderated myself and updated it.

I was not thinking well when I wrote it and a number of words I had written had to be removed else I would have needed to be moderated for foul language. I was not a happy camper a simple T.Delete instead of a T.Clear caused a delete of every record from the database. I have spent the whole day writing a new system and was just finishing off the search results and caused this. Oh well it will be back soon after I agree to pay the provider to restore the tables.

Have a good night...

Hi David,

That is such bad news to me as I spent hours adding comments on many of the roads we have travelled during the past xouple of weeks only yesterday afternoon...in the travellers comments! Such is life eh. Good luck and I hope it is all up and running smoothly again soon.

I could probably have helped you with some of the 'foul language' too, if you needed any help! lol

If I get a chance I will try to re do it tonight before we set out to places without internet access for the next day or two.

regards,

Heather

Heather,
Thanks for doing these updates that is great. I hope that the restore will recover all you entries as the system is backed up every 15 mins so I have requested it be restored to as close as possible to the time I made the stuff up. So hopefully all your work will be recovered. I just need to chase up the job when I get into the office.
