Followed this trek June 2012. Pace notes are excellent and roads easy.
The "
camp area" at Mulloon is a delightful lunch spot.
Lowdon Forest Park is worth a couple of hours. There is plenty to see here.
It's also worth a side trip up the tower on Mt Cronin, further south towards Main Range Rd.
Excellent accommodation and meals at Captains Flat Pub too!
