I bought 2 pairs, one for my husband for his birthday and one for me. My husband's pair (large size) fit fine - he reckons they're lovely to wear. However my small pair are a design disaster! The seamed ankle is so small so that I can't get my ankle in although the foot size is correct. It's seriously flawed and very disappointing but could be rectified with an elastic seam.

That's ok - Adele will respond to you and sort out a replacement or refund - your choice. I know exactly what you mean however, I also wear the ladies small (normally wear size 7 shoes) but with perserverance I got my foot in and the fabric has now "given" a little - but it did take a few "cinderella's step-sister" attempts! LOL
