You have answered your own question, if other Xtrail owners love them you will too.

With Xtrails you don't have much choice.

Check out this link.

We use geolanders as replacement tyres for our 4wds at work, great tyre. They actually on rd better then a lot of HT tyres and wear well, not quite as good in mud as Brifgestone 694s but still better then any HT
You will like them .

My tyre guy sold me a set and they are still excellent after 85,000kms. He reckons he has done himself out of business because they last too long. Don't get the Geolander HT though, they are no good at all.

I recently bought an X Trail for my wife, it had a new set of Hankook tyres with supposed "quiet ride technology".

My question is .... is there a vehicle made that transmits more road noise into the cabin than an X Trail?

I can't believe how noisy the vehicle is, I thought Honda CR-V were bad!

We have a friend who just bought a new diesel Xtrail and yes it is noisy and thumps a far bit in the rear.
