I'm planning a trip up through the
Strzelecki Track in May & wondered if fuel is still available at Camerons Corner as I had heard the operation there has closed.
Thanks,
John

Thanks for the info. I phoned the store but no answer but the people at the
Tibooburra Corner Store said it was still open.
Thanks again for your leads.

Hi
John,
We were there in September and it was still open then. The only problem we had was with the million or so flies.....
Cheers,
Jonty.

We were also there in september plenty of flys and fuel also the lions club taking over the whole corner post for a fund raiser and hitting golf balls all over the place. Not that I mind a fund raiser but when they tell you you cant park near there and shoot golf balls in every direction a tad dangerous I think.
All the best

John,
We were up there last November, went from
Lyndhurst up the Strzelecki to Innaminka, Kudriemitchie, Coongie, Cullymurra,
Bore Track, Camerons Corner,
Tibooburra etc, fuel available no probs. Certainly at Camerons Corner.
Had a top trip. Don't let anyone tell you that you can do 100mph up the Strzelecki ==crap. Best track/rd we struck till we got to
Broken Hill was the
Bore Track.
Enjoy.

Hi,
I was there in December 2003 and talked to Cameron Store attendant. He had diesel, but not unleaded. I would definitely take fuel in
Tibooburra. You have abt 350 kms to
Lyndhurst or
Innamincka from
Cameron Corner. It would be silly to run out of fuel.
Cheers
Lech
