G'day everyone
I though it might be a timely reminder for all who venture into the
Pilbara and
Kimberley at this time of the year, as holiday mode can also bring tragedy.
Late last year ( October 2011 ) a tragic event occurred on a walk track near
Fortescue Falls in the
Karijini National Park.
A
young lad fell down a 15 metre deep section of
the gorge walking track and in an attempt to save/rescue his son the boys father also fell, but to his death.
The
young lad was critically injured but survived, he is today wheel chair bound and still on the mend.
Mr Chris Majewski was in his thirties.
