is it possible too get thru to
rainbow beach around the rocks safely 2 hours after high tide .

Depends on the tide, wind and your truck.

If in doubt take the freshwater track just before the
cherry venture.
Last time I was there you would have had to drive through at least some water to make it round at that time of day. There were very few rocks exposed at that time

yup. Its about 4klm back from the
cherry venture and is a very interesting drive. Sandy track through rainforesty type stuff. Even if you get the tides right would still take this track as you will not see anything much different to what you have already seen, if you go via the leisha track and Mudlo rocks. The disadvantage is that it will take longer, about 45mins if I remember rightly.
If in doubt buy a map of the Cooloola region. The mobil at
Noosaville sells a black and white version and is pretty good
