I bought a set of the commercial rola racks for my 100 series and am disappointed. They don't sit on the roof very well. the hard plastic sits straight on the paint work( no rubber spacer) and they vibrate . Sent an email to Rola but no reply. I am fed up with paying good money for cheep crap.

Used Rola on various vehicles over the years.
They’re not cheap or crap.
Maybe you haven’t fitted them correctly.

yes they have a seal under the support leg but the base section that sits on the roof has plastic lugs under the support that make them sit up a bit . Just a poor quality fit

I have had a set for the past 23 years on my 2 hilux's. They originally came with a clear plastic sheet that sat between the rubber feet and the roof. The plastic is looong gone now, i just sit the rubber feet on the roof with no ill effects at all

Are they fitted correctly?
With the 100 series there are specific racks for the front, middle and rear.
Maybe you have them in the wrong order?
I had no problems with mine.

Good or Bad! There is no excuse for not responding the very same day!! After all without customers, there is no business!!! No excuse at all!! They obviously don't value their customers. Michael.

They are fitted properly and in the proper positions and they have the seals in but the hard plastic which is the visible upright and the bar attaches to, sits straight on the paint work and doesn't sit neatly, I would imagine they will wear the the paint off the roof eventually .
