Hey All
Pretty simple, anyone with a fridge got insurance for it and what is it classed under, home & contents, vehicle accessories, portable items ( which I thought were ony valued at $200). Am a little concerned that my 10 month old Engel which I have used twice but wanted since I was 19 (now 32) will be the target for the seemingly increasing number of low life scum that are out to rip off you hard earned.
Any comments welcome.

My Engel and many other Items such as my Metal Detector (valued at $4600.00) are listed on my Home contents policy (NRMA) as specified valuable portables which covers the items anywhere in Aust. Does increase the policy cost a bit but the items covered add up to many thousands of dollars.

I had my engel put on my car insurance.... after a long (and slioghtly heated) discussion with the sales person.
Basically it has to be "permanently attached" and they would cover it.

Hey Andi,

Mine is a listed as a seperate item on my Home & Contents policy with G.I.O. for about $20ish a year, maybe a tad more. Covered anywhere in Oz and N.Z. Peace of mind as these things have a habit of walking????
