My earlier post (Good Oil for Townsville NISSAN) was only one of a series of problems we had on our run up to Townsville from Broken Hill… In addition to the “chick-chick-chick” noise under the bonnet every morning, we also: lost the use of our Uniden UHF… lost the use of our Codan HF… and lost the use of our GPS TK102 Tracking Device… Add to that list – we lost a hubcap from the van, and both caught colds from the chilly nights on the way up…

But ADD to that now… GRATEFUL THANKS to David Collins of HFRADIO.COM.AU…
Top bloke… Phoned him this morning and explained my frustrations with our Codan 8525… This is our fourth glitch with this unit (But – Hey… 25yrs has got to be close to the Use-By-Date…)
David was magnificent: Organised to supply and deliver a re-furbished Codan 9323 unit to us here in Townsville from his workshop in Brisbane by Friday…
