A busy little site. It seems to be used as a stop-over for those travelling up/down the Great Northern Highway, or those staying in the area, gold prospecting.
Not much to look at as a site, but
well equipped. There is no grass and just red dirt and gravel. It is a functional site, rather than an attraction. The park has recently been refitted and the new abolution block was very
well appointed.
On site is the old
Cue Gaol built in 1896-97 and you can enter in inspect the remains.
Shops are walking distance from the park and along with the foodstore you can pick up a variety of hardware items, although it is not an extensive range. You may get lucky, depending on your needs or emergency.
