Yes you can ~ but either keep the dog on a leash and don't allow it to pick up anything off the ground or muzzle it, as wild dog baits are a real danger to your dog in this part of the world.

thank you we are quite aware now of the dangers with baits and poison and yes we had been thinking of muzzling our dog when out of the 4wd ...and wandering around...we have read so many stories about it.....our dog travels with us to most places and we dont like to leave him home for more trhan a month as he starts to fret and being our bestest friend and getting on we have chosen to take him with us as we will be away 3 months this time,,,many thanks chris and ross.
