If you take a close up look at the photos it appears they are made in China.

The Pirellis I bought for my daughter's car were made in China too - nothing written on the sidewall but "China" was in fineprint on the sticker that came off the tyre.

Hi Boo Boo,

We got a set of three Doublestar 'Challenger' tyres for our camper trailer a few months ago. From a local tyre shop, not online. I think $80 or $90 each new. The tyre guy said they were chinese but should be OK.

We towed it accross the Anne Beadell Hwy, Great Central road, David Carnegie Road, Hunt Oil Road, Finke river Gorge, Binns Track and Oodnadatta Track with not one puncture.

Maybe just lucky?

Hi Boo Boo , I brought a AT LT from these guys up here in QLD . Can not fault them . I think i paid around 700-750 for four with fitting . Service was great . Had them on 6 months now not showing any sings of wear . I thimk they are Goodride's .

Well thanks a lot fellas, I'll now eat my words for brekkie. LOL

I really thought they would be a waste of money.

I remembered this morning that my daughter put a set of fairly pricey tyres, can't remember the brand, on our Honda a couple of months ago and the road noise was incredible.

I guess you can't always judge a tyre by its price.

Hi again Boo Boo , No road noise what at all . Like i said really happy with them . Done a bit of beach work with them no worries . On road very grippy i really can't fault them . I was worried about too . But seem to be a good tyre . I tow a 18 ft van and never a worry being LT's . They are not a copper but you can't compare 750 compared to 1800 ethier . So if i get 50 000 out of them that's a good deal i think .
