Canning Stock Route Conditions

Hi All
Has there been any rain on the track and is there anything we need to consider in regard to conditions? Apart from the obvious corro's, sand, rocks, sandhills etc. Any RECENT info would be great. We (Hilux and 79 series ute) are going next week.

Hi Nick T2, did it 3wks ago (sigh) if you're going nth-sth easier on the dune assents whereas sth-nth getting very scollept spinifex has had the stalks snapped off by now but still check the running gear tho diesel is $3.40 mate of mine did a back load thru the Gary Hwy dry as. you,ll have a great trip

Funny how on one forum we are not advised to take trailers etc because of the damage they cause. Yet on the oka forum we read that a bunch of big tractors is going onto the CSR and an interesting comment was:
