Yair, we can't have anyone digging up gold and making a quid, creating a small city in the desert, creating jobs for Australians, building schools and so on - its just not right!
What would happen if we let anyone get away with working and paying taxes to support everyone else who doesn't work!?!

Now let's all be fair about this, it's not a protest these people (if you have a good look at them) are only going up there to register for jobs when the Olympic Dam expansions start. HA HA !!

I would say they are one of these groups that have a philosophical objection to uranium mining because in their mind, uranium mining equals WW3, Chernobyl, etcetera...these sorts of people spend the year traveling the country protesting about all sorts of things...I'd like to know how they can afford that sort of lifestyle...

Apparently Dick has supported Anti- Uranium Groups financially. Still hardly paying them to be there. I'd be more concerned that these protestors were on welfare. I'm sure some of them are our neighbours and work colleagues and not all ferals.

:) In respect to Fred G I haven't got involved with this again. His question has been hijacked (and to be honest I haven't helped either) but comments like "Bazooka's" is unproductive and a waste of every one's time on this forum. A classic example of typing in frustration and pressing "submit" without sitting back and thinking about it first.
