Hi I am about to buy a 2012 NW Pajero with factory GPS fitted. My question is can you load Oziexplorer on it and how? Thanks in advance Brian.

Hi Brian P
As far as I know the Mitsubishi MMCS runs a modified version of the whereis mapping software. It won't run Oziexplorer. Have a look at the
Pajero 4WD Club site. Just about anything you want to know about Pajero is there.
cheers
Peter

No it won't. The unit only runs the Sensis or whereis & is fairly useless. I have a second GPS which runs all my other maps especially Ozi. The Multi Media sytem in the Pajero also has a motion detector fitted to disable any useage whilst the vehicle is in motion so the driver & PASSENGER cannot operate same. There is a cable you can purchase which by passes the MD & is sold by a guy who is a member on the Pajero Club Of Victoria web site. Good luck with the new vehicle we have a 2009 VRX auto diesel & it is by far the best touring & towing vehicle I have ever owned. Happy Trails. Robert.
