Photo's of Galena Bridge

Just thought I would try my hand at uploading some photos I took of Galena Bridge. I think that I've done it right. I'm sure you will tell me where I've gone wrong if this doesn't turn out ;)

Good job with getting them working however it is best to load images of places into the places system. If you would not mind take the link up near the top to Galena Bridge Rest Area - once on this places page open the Photos tab and click upload and then upload the shots to that place also. I am working on the ability to allow us to link the forum photos to places however the current forum photos are not in the right format for directly loading into places.

Thanks

Nick,

When in places select the features option and select the required method that you wish to use to create a new place.

From there follow the bouncing ball :)

I have done quite a few using the top option.

Nick,

Once you have added the new place you can then edit it to include a short blurb and photos.

Guys it is really easy now - you do not have to edit or anything - just click on the link to the place - (like the one above) or open any place once on the page open the Photos tab (for Galena above it says Photos (5)) and there is an upload images/files button right there in the photos tab. At least I have one - can you please check and make sure you can see it? I may have stuffed it up and loaded it for admins or something so please let me know.

I just also checked and on the Place page there is a button to load the photo directly on the page you do not even have to open the tab - it is like this:
Image Could Not Be Found See the button on the right second one down.

I notice that the photos have been loaded so well done but I want to confirm that you can add images from the Photos tab...

David,

I think Nick is after the instructions on how to create a new Place as well.

I can also add photos but have a few Admin rights so not sure if others can.

Ok great, new place needs a rewrite but add the place using it then open it for the easiest way to add pics. You must save a place before the images can be uploaded. Wish there were more of me to get things done but I have been locked into mobile development and EO apps for weeks with a few more to go.

Well done on the beautiful pics and the successful upload.

It always amazes me to look up under those bridges and see the debris, logs etc wedged into the under-floor of the bridge, proof of water lapping up to the structure.
I so want to see these rivers in flood at some time, that is on my Bucket List.
