The
Bourke-
Louth-
Tilpa Road was closed yesterday, not sure if it has been re opened yet. I can't imagine the
Cobar -
Louth will be open if all the others are closed.

Hi snailbait . Make certain you do a good checkup of the shire roads as a friend of
mine was at The
Cliff Hanger off road comp near
Cobar last week . The comp was cancelled on Wed and they had to leave the station immediately as there was plenty of rain and they would have been stuck in there for days . We are at
Maryborough Qld now and have had trouble finding a caravan park to get into as they are too wet after the wide spread rain . You may have to wait a few days for the roads to dry out . Hope you have a good trip . Vern

Why don't you ring trilby they will know what is going on in the area. If not trilby try the
louth pub its a traffic hub and a font of road condition info. You should be able to get from
cobar to
louth as that road is red dirt and needs a hell of a lot of water on it to make it impassable.
Louth to trilby is black dirt and only needs a small amount of rain to make it undrivable. Get to
Louth stay overnight at the camping ground if needs be and wait till the trilby road dries out usually about 24 hours if it doesn't rain. Have fun. I go out that way a couple of times a year and patience with the road conditions is your best friend.
