Does anyone know of a good way to mount a small digital camcorder to the dash of a 4by? I'd be particularly interested if anyone has actually bought a mounting bracket rather than velcroing it down. And how much the mount cost.

Ta. My searches of the forum didn't turn anything up. I guess I used the wrong combination of words. :-(

Don't worry SupaMav, I've found it difficult to search on forums using keywords that people can't spell... ; )

pepsi - have to hit the forum tab, then that brings up a field that allows you to search by post number. Originally found it from the members forum by using keyword video. And yes it covers off suction caps!

Mate is making one up at the moment, same GQ, and is mounting it where the Rear View Mirror was.

This is only one of them small extension lens camera things that plugs into your main digi movie camera. they are around 1in long and 2cm round.

Got a Dash Pod?? if not mount a flat piece of ply where you would mount a Dashpod, adn bolt to that, no holes need to be drilled for a pod, If you need a photo of a pod, look at www.consoles.com

make sure you don't have the auto focus switched on as it will be continually a blur as the camera is not designed for use at speed.
