Seeking advice on accommodation.

Would recommend the cabins/caravan site/green grass they have out the back at Three Ways Roadhouse. Nice big trees, clean, friendly, much better than staying at Tennant Creek I have found on my half dozen visits to that area. Tucker good too.
Don't tell anybody, I need a vacancy next time I'm coming through !!

We stayed at the Outback CP in Tennant Creek - well away from Highway, huge drive through sites set up herringbone fashion. At the time the amenities needed a little TLC, but overall i scored the park 7/10.

Mixed reviews on Three Ways, but it is a roadhouse campground.

we camped at Three Ways last year and the roadtrain that came in before 6.00 a.m to fuel up and left it's motor running for over half an hour was not the nicest alarm clock to be woken by IMHO. possibly might not have been so noisey in the cabins or a caravan or motorhome, but certainly not real quiet in a camper trailer. friends of ours stay a couple of nights at the Outback Caravan Park in Tenant Creek last year and had no problems there.

The Outback Caravan Park at Tennant Creek used to be nice. So did Wickliffe Well. It's been a few years since we used Three ways but the other 2 were lovely. In our standards in our tent.
