My Place Rating:
We have just completed this trek - fabulous. Tx so much - it provides a humbling experience of the diversity of topography & vegetation in this wonderful place. The French & QAA lines quite chopped up but the WAA less so ( as u would expect). The salt pan at the southern end of the Knolls Track was impassable straight across but we drove south around the edge & crossed about 7km further south then cut across country to hit the Knolls Track. A great, great trek - so much better than scooting straight across the French if you have the time. We spent 5 days with 23 hours driving time.
