Hi, I have this 2.5mm alloy
Ute canopy on a dual-cab with horizontal channels C-sections made out of the same material under the roof.
We want to put a foam mattress & 2 people on it (approx. 150kg) while camping. Is it likely to support the weight?
To err on the cautious side, I'm thinking of putting a temporary vertical strut from the tray floor to middle horizontal channel while camping.
Any ideas?
Regards.

Would depend on how deep the C section chanels are, the spacings between them & what vertical bracing there is. Perhaps take it to a boiler maker / engineer for a professional opion as it's almost impossible to tell without looking at it.
