Travelling to the Gold Coast (from NSW) to attend a wedding. Looking for a dog friendly, not too expensive and a reasonable distance from Kirra Beach camp site or caravan park.
Any suggestions? Be nice now
Many thanks

I normally stay at the palm beach tourist park. The amenities block is a little run down, but they always have space. There is a few permanents living there, but never had any troubles with them. The park has a security gate and cheaper then the council run parks. Think I may of seen Dogs there, would be worth asking. Palm Beach to Kirra is pretty much just over the hill.

It must be a big hill. Palm Beach to Kirra is about 8 km. Have you tried the Kirra Caravan park? It is a council park but it is back from the beach a bit. But they not be animal friendly.

The Caravvan Parks on the Gold Coast all seem to bar pets. I understand they are all Council owned and the Gold Coast City Council must not like people who travel with their furry friends.
Thank you all
