Anyone know if it is possible to copy and paste all my saved waypoints tracks etc from a magellon explorist to a gallexy tab running oziexplorer.Magellon format is .wpt and .plt but accepts .gpx from memory.
cheers Graeme.

Hello
Yes very possible. What program are you currently using to manage all your waypoints and tracks? I am assuming you have an older eXplorist based on the file formats your mention.
You just need to convert your data to GPX. This can be done with PC version of OziExplorer, VantagePoint, Mapsend Lite...or GPSBabel (plus a few other free and not so free programs)
Maybe GPSBabel is you best chance (in the absence of any other info on what you already have at your disposal) - Do a internet search and download it. It is a simple program that lets you convert one format (e.g. Magellan wpt) to another (GPX).
Cheers

Hi Graeme
Unfortunately not that simple - the file extentions are the same but the formats are different. You will need to convert Magellan format wpt/plt files to OziExplorer format wpt/plt...one way or another.
Cheers
