Hi All. Can anybody tell me if there are any Wild flowers out yet on the Great Northern Hwy from Mt Magnet to
Perth. Will be coming from
Leonora in a couple
of weeks and will detour that way if any about. Thanks in advance. Brian

Brian
Brought a truck down from north yesterday, can't actually remember any
wildflowers out as yet as too busy dodging oversize loads, heading up.
Counted 47 o/size from Bindi Bindi to
New Norcia plus 8 at 8+metres further up.
Probably doesn't help you a lot but will give you an idea of current traffic at least.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Brian,
Contrary to many people's ideas ............... there are actually four wild flower seasons in WA.
Winter......
Spring.......
Summer......
and
Autumn.
Distant relatives of ours have a
farm near
Badgingarra, a great place to stay with Don & Joy running a very informative wild flower tour on their property.
It is interesting to be shown the different flowers that abound regardless of the season and we are aware that many 4WD clubs have also visited the property and attended their tour.
Hmmmmm, it has been too long since we visited the
farm.
Enjoy your trip :-)
Regards,
Wayne & Sally.
