Great spot if you want to reward yourself, relaxed tours and an awesome campsite with modern clean amenities, infinity pool and kayaking no extra charge, gather you own firewood on the way in if you get the opportunity or grab some not far around the site.

Hi all , We stayed a couple of days last year and it is a fantastic place , the tour up the gorge is great and we had the opportunity to take a helecopter flight as well which was breathtaking. Highly recomended the staff were great.

Stayed there for 2 nights at the end of May and could not agree more . Great place and great people and had a ball at dinner in the bar.
Actually got the wife up in her first helicopter flight which she loved.

Friendly reminder ??? members live in various states, Cobbold Gorge sounds really great ? but i have no idea where it is, So i will Google it,
But if the state was mentioned in the post, life would be a little easier ??

Hi Dazren,

I could not agree more. It would be so much appreciated if posts included a clue as to where in this huge country the place mentioned is. I know Google is our friend but stopping to google or consult the road atlas can be time-consuming when time is limited.

BTW Cobbold Gorge, accessible from Georgetown, QLD is certainly worth checking up on!

G'day mate, it's Queensland's Far North, turn off at Georgetown from the Savannah Way and head to Forsayth.
