We stayed at FC#301 a few weeks ago at Richmond (300 metres off main street). Its close in town (walking distance) and has a dump point. Register at Kronosaurus Korner. It says in FC book that there is a charge ($ sign) but no-one asked us for any money and we even registered as requested. Its only suitable for self contained RV's - no water or public facilities.
There were about 7 or 8 camped there the night we were there.
Cheers

Wamuranman, what's this FC book you are talking about? I have several listings but can't find what you are talking about. Unless you give the correct title (and edition if there are several) the reference is of little use.

Peter I am referring to Camps 6 .... often called the Free Camps Book by many (FC).
It lists 3700 free camps sites in Australia.
Published by Camps Australia Wide Pty Ltd
Ph (07) 5449 1476
Its available in plenty of retailers all over Australia.

I only paid ten bucks a night at the caravan park(non powered) A couple of years back. Me and two kids. Was a good chance to wash and have a real shower. At that price I almost call it free.
