Hi all,
For driving to the top of Mount Barrington I have noted the guidance here
http://www.exploroz.com/TrekNotes/NSW/Barrington_Tops.aspx which mentions the Barrington Trail (the 4WD trail from
Barrington Tops Forest Road to Mount Barrington). Has anyone driven it recently and can give an indication as to its condition. I am aware that it is under a seasonal closure at the moment.
Thanks !
Martin

It is an easy 4wd trip usually, only open when dry and quite often closed, We've been up there a few times in the last few years and it has been closed every time so the track basically just goes out to
the Big Hole.

Was up there several months ago. fairly easy 4wd track when open.
Call the national parks office in
Scone, they are very helpful and will be able to give you up to date info.

was there in the last school holiday & it was not a problem But it did get closed due to the rain & snow, It was colder there than any trip ive had to the alpine area.
