My Shop Item Rating:
Purchased the 4WD pack to use on a 10 inch notebook. The installation not totally "idiot proof". However, everything worked as advertised after some in depth reading of Oziexplorer's website and the help file. There is a learning curve with using OZX, but
well worth the effort. Very impressed with what this software can do.......and not a resource hog.
It runs happily on a low spec Eee PC with the supplied map pack, a few extra 100K topo maps, NASA satellite maps, and Google street maps via my mobile phone internet connection for city/regional areas.
The GPS works ok with no noticeable drop outs.
The map pack is comprehensive. The ones used so far are accurate and don't require calibration.
Overall. A good starting point for vehicle navigation........just add extra maps where required.
