Hi Guys
We are planning to travel up the west coast September to the middle October.
Would like to find a couple of (cheap) sites to VEG OUT and also do a bit of fi shing, we will have our dog with us ....so no national parks.
Would appreciate some
feedback and suggestions on
places to take a look at
Many thanks
Brian R

Lucky Bay - south of
Kalbarri. Great for fishing and
free camping. You need to be OK with sand driving though.
cheers
Sue

Hi Brian, depending how far north you are planning to go there is Coronation Beach, about 15km north of
Geraldton, low cost,
toilet on site.
40 Mile Beach, 70km south of
Karratha, excellent virtually area right on the beach. No facilities, no fee after 1st September as this officially begins cyclone season and the Shire figures "no charge, no responsibility". You will almost have the place to yourself then.
Cleaverville, 40km North (East) of
Karratha, ditto 40 Mile Beach.
All great spots to 'veg out'.
Cheers Neil

We are currently up here in the midwest and the winds appear to have come early this year !
Had probably only a couple of calm days in the last 2-3 weeks. Its blowing like buggary today.
Lots of wild flowers coming out though due to the late rain we've had.

Hazo
Sorry but can,t agree cold yes but "blowing like buggary" no when the southery,s start south east at 3am at 30 knots then turn 30degs to 180 and pick up 10 knots thats blowing. The easterlies are cold but generaly die by midday making for cool pleasant evening.
