Free camp? - Mildura/Murray River area anywhere up or down the river? is there any, facilities or not? More remote the better! hoo roo

Merebin Common down stream of Mildura is good.Bush camping, free, no facilities. Hatta lakes national park is also good

Check out "Lock 9" via Lake Cullulleraine. You can camp around that area, there would be toilets there.

For more remote & with out facilities, we turn left up the mail road before the lock and go as far as the gate and there are some nice spots down on your right. But don't tell anyone else.....

You can go further along the mail road if you want.

A very nice area.. :-) ...

Some good spots on the river in Red Cliffs area.No facilities but right on the river .
Call in at Kulkine Campers on the highway in town.They will tell you where to head
