fuel stops cairns to weipa

Hi all, can any one kindly tell me what is the longest distance is between fuel stops from cairns to Weipa.

Also is there any where u can get auto gas from north of cairns.

sorry forgot to mention that i have duel fuel gas & petrol, 75 litres petrol and 80 litres gas just wondering if i would have enough petrol to get from one fuel station to another. gu patrol 4.litre

Suggest you leave your gas bottle at home as there is none. The longest distance without fuel is about 200k so no problems getting there and back.
Strongly suggest you get Ron Moon's book Cape York and the Hema Map of the same. Between the two they will answer most of your questions.
Enjoy the planning and get your trip in before they make it blacktop all the way to Weipa.

Do not worry about fuel on the Cape.

Longest distance is out to Weipa, not too sure of the K's but 200 would pull it up.

Do not use your gas, just keep it as insurance and only use it when you get bcak to Cairns area.

Also think about this !
Keep topping up your petrol tank tank
If you decide to have a crack at The Old Tele Track, and the Creek Crossings, then empty 80 lt tank under your mighty nissan will act like a float, and may cause you to loose traction.
