I have been made aware that
QLD Member Daza has passed away due to a Brain Melonoma in the last couple of days.
I am trying to find out when the Funeral is so that members can attend if available.
My thoughts are with his Family and Friends at this great loss.

I recieved the info from a former EO member who had recieved a call from "the Cook"

Thanks for letting us know Kev, we hope it's not the case but if he has passed away then our thoughts are with his family at their sad loss.
He was a regular contributor to EO and will be missed by us all.

have just spoken to Dazza's wife ( the
cook).
Funeral is Thursday 30th August at 10am @
Southport Lawn
Cemetery.
Dazza passed away early Sunday morning in hospital with his son by his side.
RIP Darrell.

just a short note to let you know i attended Dazza's funeral today.
it was a very fitting send off for him.
i did pass on condolences to all from Exploroz and Fay ( the
Cook) said in time she will be frequenting this
forum to keep up on the hows' and whats of traveling . she still intends to do all the traveling her and Dazza planned to do in his honour.

So sad to here of another member passing away - a quick search of Daza and the posts that came up brought back memories and showed why he was so liked by most of us.
