site slow loading

Yep, It's been slow on and off all arvo here in Qld. I think there must be some work happening on the site. How the 'My Home' displays forum messages has changed.

There is a large amount of work going on with the system and there was also a major platform upgrade done yesterday. There are a number of teething problems and I am working through them at the moment. I thought I had it solved but there just when I was happy it paused again. We are working on it.

I was up most of last night installing all sorts of tools and test processes on the machine and I actually think I have solved all the problems now. There are still the periodic attacks on the system by hacker types (usually auto processes looking for holes) that try to break in but I have also installed tools to kill them off quickly when I detect them (you would be surprised how often these attacks occur on all servers).

As it stands right now I believe we are in good shape and working well. I hope this continues but I am still monitoring the system fully.
