I've an idea I saw them at ARB Osborne Park just recently. Of course they may all been bought as Xmas presents but give them a bell and find out. 9244 3553 I think.

Hi Synergist,
You might have noticed that we stock most of the Weststate Publishing books as of the last few days. The reason we don't show stock of 4WD Days out of Perth and 4WD Weekends out of Perth is that when I went to order them Nick advised me that they are out of print and a new edition of both is coming soon. I will have these new editions when they are printed as we've just started taking on these titles.Regards Michelle,

I have only just started plugging my NEC Notebook into the GPS and am still a bit hack with it, but I'll see how it goes.

Ranger Camping on Stock Rd, O'Conner, have a number of copies. I was looking at them about two weeks ago. There is also a Map Shop in Fremantle (I forgot it's name) that had a large number of copies.Everyone is entitled to have an opinion - just make sure that yours is correct.

Just a tip, I was in dwellingup for new year and tried the "up the murray trip" either I got lost (using my Garmin GPS II+) or calm have blocked some of that trip off. I'm going down again tomorrow and am going to see if the Baden Powel trip is any good.

I too hope you could download the track points. I intend to upload some after Australia Day if I find decent tracks.

They are of course copywrited but on the basis that you intend to buy one as soon as they come back in print, I don't see a problem in letting you have a copy of mine. If you have a fax number, I can send you the relevant pages, otherwise I could scan & email. Or look for the White Challenger at Dwellingup Caravan Park that weekend

I did this trip last year with our club , you will find that a lot of the tracks change from the book because of loging, new tracks have been add all the time so you have to play it a bit by luck and misadventure , Nick is awere of the problem and may have rewitten this trip in the later version, we got it done OK but not fully by the book , make sure you take the most updated paper map you can get of the area with UTM grid referances on it .Also there has been some changes to the trip notes published in later editions of the Western 4w driver magazine.99 GU Patrol 4.2 TD
