Phone Electrolux or Dometic in Melbourne who will be able to assist you.
It could be dust or a dirty burner. Run a tooth brush over the jet as there may be a carbon buildup on the burner. This will be easy to see when the burner is on, as the flame will not be a good looking blue colour.

The element could have moved from its correct location, and again dust buildup can be an issue. If the coils and fins outside are dusty they cannot get rid of the heat. If you know what you are doing, take off the back panel and carefully wash them well with water and something like Cousins Morning Fresh which leaves no residual. Do not plug it in for a couple of days so you can ensure there is no water around the 240v parts.
If the Finch is old the element wire does age and increases the resistence which then does not give out sufficient heat. The element will normally have the resistance stamped on the ceramic and it can be checked with an ohm meter to see if it is currently the same.

Another thing worth trying is to turn the fridge off, shake the fridge very well, turn it upside down a few times, leave it upside down for a day or so. The solution(s) sometimes crystalize and the flow can be restricted causing poor cooling, the shaking and inversion can dislodge the obstructions. Also as you probably know, these fridges must be level to operate correctly.

My brother-in-law has one which was barely cool. A local refridge mech turned it upside down overnight and now it works a treat.
Cheers
