G'day folks. New member here.
My lovely wife, Gerda and I, have had our Jaco Discovery for 18 months now and we are about to go on a weeks trip up to Toowoomba and then west to Chinchilla.
This time last year, we were away for 2 months, travelling over to WA and into the Flinders Ranges. Very enjoyable it was.
Cheers,
Tony

Hi Tony & Gerda.
Welcome to ExplorOz.
When we travel west from the coast, we turn at Gatton & head through Clifton, Pittsworth & Cecil Plains to Dalby. The route is about 80k longer than going through Toowoomba but it is a good towing route.
We have camped at Chinchilla Weir & Archers Crossing(south side) & enjoyed both sites.
Enjoy your trip.
Cheers.
Vince

Thanks, Barry F & Vince.
Vince, that sounds like a good way to go. I lived 25 years in Queensland, the last ten out at Chinchilla, so I know the roads around there.
There are some lovely spots to see in the SE corner alright.
We are going to look for some of that petrified wood out at Chinchilla.

Cheers,
Tony
