Tomorrow, Monday, The Happy Walk begins in
Melbourne at 2pm.
If you're interested in coming along we will be meeting at 1.45 to start walking at 2pm from
St Kilda Pier to
Station Pier where I will later catch the ferry to Tassie to walk the first 2000kms of a 7 year walk around Australia for depression awareness and suicide prevention.
Tomorrow also marks the end of Sarah Eagle's awareness walk for Walking Feat. She has walked about 3,000km in Japan and from Armidale to
Melbourne this year for mental health awareness and carried an engraved baton which she will pass to me tomorrow.
So if you have some free time and are in town head on down to
St Kilda and join us for an easy sunny afternoon stroll along the waterfront. Look for the large woman with a recently shaved head, wearing blue shirt, green trousers and carrying a big pack with a
bright yellow and white cover. That's me :)
