Just tired
I'm off to
Parkes on the weekend with a couple of mates, just wondering if there are any interesting 4wd tracks around the area. Have been to the dish so that's one place already done, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers Tom

I live in
Forbes and there aren't that many tracks worth the effort in the area, no real hills around I guess.
Some nice drives along the
Lachlan river to
Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo.
There's an interesting display of Painted Holden Utes at Ootha, on the way To
Condobolin. "Utes In The Paddock"
There are a few State Parks and National Parks in the area, but nothing challenging, just good dirt tracks. Goobang Nat Park, Nangar Nat Park and Weddin Mountains.

Hi Tom,
As Notso said, there isnt any hard core 4wdricing but if you head into the
Bumberry mountains, there is some tracks worth looking at. I'll email you a mud map if you need it.
Cheers Wilko

A mud map would be good if possible, one mate is going for the weekend to play golf the other three of us are going just because we can, so we need time to kill so we are still sober enough to watch the football.
Cheers Tom
