Anyone know how well the Sovereign bullbar goes when you hit a beast? Any pros or cons generally? I would appreciate hearing of your experiences or thoughts anyway.

Thanks

There is a way to make the new Playdoe uglier!!
[ View Image]

Looking at the 'wings' on the side around the blinkers, they are just itching to do more damage than they would stop.. To me, leaning back towards the bonnet is going to give it less strength, OR movement before it hits something.

Specially with the new "recommended" save the pedistrian specs on bars, leaning back so the cow/bull/roo/etc can roll up the bonnet and into the screen. Would a bar off the last model fit? Id be doing LOTS of investigation into an old ARB bar first.

I agree. My van came with a steel roo bar not as solid looking as most Bull bars i have seen on other l/c utes but I chalked up my 8th roo the other day with no damage to front or roo bar

Hi Darbi,
I have just purchased bull bar from ARB,thru one of their distributers, when I was comparing the differances between an aluminium bar and steel, as I had an al on a previous truck I was told straight out that they offer no real protection so having mulled this around in my mind for few days I had I had a steel bar mounted to my truck ! The obvious advanntage of an al bar is weight saving factor...but for what price!. But having said that any bar is better than no bar. This comment has nothing to do with who made the particular bar you are looking at.as I am sure that in its class it is a good bar.

thanks everyone, I think I'll wait for awhile before getting one, and see what gets made for it.
