The council
sign says 25 creek crossings?, Is that right?, and is that just a ordinary track,The rest of the way to
Nundle is just a dirt road maintained by council and in good condition, probably for the log trucks.
Cheers Axle.

Have not been that way but went via Ellerston, Glenrock and Barry a few years ago and seem to recall about 10 water crossings and a good surface.

It's a couple of years ago now but I travelled from
Tamworth to
Scone via Barry Station. My count was 27 creek crossings. I could have got it wrong but it had been pretty wet for a while so maybe there were a couple up that normally didn't count.
It was a pretty easy drive through beautiful countryside and I would love to do it again some time. The track did get a bit sketchy in
places but I never had traction problems.
I did get a bit anxious toward the southern end as the sky was getting pretty dark. It did let loose on me but thankfully I had made it back onto bitumen.

Don't recall anything like 25 crossings - it was a few years back and mid-drought, though. Easier run from Gundy >
Nundle. Nice country.
